Haircuts for the boys

Tonight I gave all the males in the house a haircut! Tim did ok; Xander was a little annoyed; Jonathan had to be held down by Tim and Xander, but he didn't cry; Asher was a terror... he screamed, cried, squirmed....

It did not end well :( Poor Asher ended up getting cut by the clippers... DON'T FRET, it wasn't too terrible of a cut, but it bled. Am I horrible for not pitying him? I mean, I felt bad that he got a little nick on his head, but really... if he had settled down and not been so panicked by the whole ordeal, he would've been fine!

Surely there is an easier way to cut a kid's hair???

I rewarded all 3 boys & 1 man with chocolate ... and all was well with their world!

Poor Bella, she stood at the gate into the living room looking sad and lost while all of us were in the kitchen doing haircuts! I don't dare cut her hair... it's too pretty! Gave her a sympathy piece of chocolate... she too was happy!

I'm not brave enough to do it. Well, I tried once right before Josh turned 4. Never again.

My boys do great with haircuts, but I don't do them. I have not been satisfied with the last two and am considering doing them myself. I do Jeff's, but that is easier than what I like for the boys! ;)

You should of called me to come sit with Bella. We would have had a grand time just her and me. You could always let their hair grow.
