100 things

Xander's "homework" assignment for tomorrow is to have something made with 100 items... it's the 100th day of school. So, he could do anything at all: 100 cheerios/fruit loops on a string; 100 cotton balls glued to a paper...whatever we wanted to do to be creative!

Last night at work, I found some really cool deals: 36 oz bag chocolate chips: reg price $5, clearance price $1; Ghiradelli white chocolate chips: reg price $3, clearance price 50cents!

SO.... our "creative" project: We used 100 chocolate chips (50-semi-sweet chocolate, 50-white chocolate). I used Elmer's glue to write 1-0-0 on a small poster board and we glued the chocolate chips on in a "A-B pattern" .... black/white/black/white...etc! Xander and Asher worked together (with a little help from me) and put it all together! We had fun!! PLUS, we got to sample a few of the chips.... YUMMY!

  1. haha! Great choice! I'll keep that in mind, since our 100th day is coming up. Maybe get enough to make cookies too!
