{Embracing} Jonathan

Today's Embracing the Camera post is about my son, Jonathan! For more info about E.T.C click on the link to the right --->

Jonathan:My youngest son, my first born twin, my happiest kid!

THEN....

NOW...
Jonathan was my trouble-making twin. He was my "baby-A"...if you're not a M.O.M. you may not understand what that means: Baby-A is the baby who presents first...the lowest lying baby...the baby who determines if you can have a vag or c/section delivery! Well... my baby A decided he didn't wanna come out head first- he wanted to stand up straight in my belly... feet down, head up... which, as you may know, ended me up on the operating table for a C/S! OH WELL... it was SO worth it...the end result was a BEAUTIFUL baby boy (and girl)!!

Grandmas were SO proud when he arrived! We didn't get to hold Bella until the next day, so we got in LOTS of snuggling time with Jonathan!! So snuggly! Love you, Little Man!

In spite of causing so much trouble when he was in my tummy, he came out happy as can be. They say when babies smile, "it's just gas...." I always argued that point and said, "No, no... the baby is just happy!" Hehe... I said that until I had Jonathan!! I quickly learned, his smiles were definitely "gas" smiles!! (He'll kill me one day for posting this...I'm sure of it!) This kid's gas could clear a room... you'd swear he had a dirty diaper, but no such luck...he was just stinky! As time passed he grew so much... such a big boy! He was the smallest of my children at birth (6 lb, 2 oz), but quickly grew bigger and stronger! At 2 years old, he's almost 5 pounds heavier than his twin sister and an inch taller; only 4 pounds lighter than his 3 year old brother! He's strong, solid, and tall- perfect for sports some day! Jonathan gives great big hugs...when someone is crying, he'll say "Sad?" and go give a hug! He smiles almost constantly! Even with his most serious face, his eyes still smile!

How can you look at a this smile and NOT smile?? I love this kid!!
