Gloves and No-No's

Xander fell in love with his glove for TBall.... I bought it at work last night, so when he got up this morning, he saw it & didn't put it down until he had to leave for school! He is getting so excited! I hope he likes playing when we actually start. I am a firm believer that if he decides to do something, he should follow through, BUT this venture was my idea- I initiated it, I signed him up, & I told him he's gonna do it.... SO, if he hates it, do I let him quit? OR... do I make him stick it out- after all, it's only a 8 week season....what's 2 months of his life?? It will seem like an eternity for him if he doesn't like it....but isn't it important to make him stick with stuff...and not be a quitter? OK, OK I know that I am getting WAAAAYYYY ahead of myself..... just trying to look at this from every angle! Any input would be appreciated!

Jonathan wore on my nerves today! Let me explain... I am exhausted...well, I usually am with my work schedule, but especially today because I only got about 2 1/2 hours of sleep before I had to be up and "functioning" for the kids this morning. Jonathan is my child who discovers EVERYTHING! This kid knows how to get the outlet plugs out of the outlets, how to unplug the TV, how to turn on/off the TV, the list goes on & on. None of my other children were fascinated with daddy's computer, but J is...none of the others played with the phone, but J does ... none of the others emptied the ENTIRE bag of diapers that are on the diaper table all over the floor, but J does.... none of the others discovered how to get through the gate into the kitchen, but J does...REPEATEDLY...ALL DAY LONG! So, I feel like I say "No, Jonathan" then move him away from something he shouldn't be doing, only to have him find another thing he shouldn't be doing... so all day long, I say, "No Jonathan...No Jonathan" ... So much more exhausted than I would've been anyways from no sleep!! On a silly note for Jonathan.... he was convinced that daddy's work boot was meant for his little foot.... here's his process: it took him about 10 minutes to get the shoe on... then once he did, he decided he didn't like it that much! Funny!
