The first year with my Babies

My Darling Isabella: You are often referred to as Bella, Princess Bella, Bellarina, and Princess Baby, but no matter what we call you, You are my precious, perfect, only baby girl! I always said, "I don't want a girl.... I'm scared of getting a prissy little girl.... what do I do with a girl, I've always been a tomboy."

BUT when I had you, I couldn't picture life any other way! Over the last 14 months, you have changed SO MUCH! You are quiet-- nothing like the boys!! Your gorgeous, blond, curly hair hair makes me smile! When you were in my tummy, you were closest to my heart.... and still today, you are the one who hugs the most, loves the most, and is closest to my heart!

It's fun to watch you play- the boys can all be in one corner playing & you sit by yourself...entertaining yourself. Rarely do you "hang" with the boys! Your grandmothers buy you dolls & pink clothes, mommies friends buy you pink clothes, BUT you still play with the cars & trucks! It's kinda funny! You're walking like crazy-rarely do you crawl now that you've perfected the walk! You only have 2 teeth...I am fully convinced that when you start getting them, they'll all come in at the same time...WOW, won't that be fun??? You are so sweet, Princess! It'll be interesting to see how you develop...whether you'll be the little prissy girl I have always feared or the tomboy...just like your mommy! No matter what, I love you Isabella Marie Boni!

My handsomely, wonderful little boy! You are so full of spunk and energy! You were born the smallest of all of my children, yet you have grown faster than the rest- when your big brothers were you

r age, they were smaller! When I was pregnant with you, you moved ALL THE TIME! You kicked & squirmed, and flipped from "proper" position to breech! You didn't want to sit still! NOW... you are the same way. You love giving hugs... as long as it doesn't take more than a second! You want to be on my lap, then down all in the same minute! When you were in your bouncer seat, you kicked & played almost non-stop...there were times you'd kick so much that the seat would fall off the coffee table!!

You have the sweetest, cutest smile; the longest brown eyelashes, and the happiest personality! You, like Bella, walk/run everywhere you go... you've long forgotten how to crawl!! You have 4 teeth now... working on another! With all the energy you have, I can't wait to see what you will become! I love you, Jonathan Lucas Boni, more and more every day; I can't believe it's been just over a year since we welcomed you into our family!

You know you're a mom if...

...if kids songs are the ones stuck in your head (from Renee)
...if you realize your kids are 3 years old and it is time to start carrying a normal purse and no longer the diaper bag as your purse (from Renee)
