10 years ago:
Ten years ago, I graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center. At that time, I said that in 10 years (which would be now, BTW) I would be married, with 2 or 3 kids...out on the mission field in another country!
Now, 10 years later:
I AM, in fact, married; I have 2 kids... PLUS 2 extras...just for fun :) ; and am NOT in another country. In fact, I can't see myself in another country at this point in my life. I always hated the question "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?"... because realistically, it's too hard to know that much so far ahead.
10 years from now:
So, as much as I hate "predicting" where I'll be 10 years from now.... here's what I'd like to see myself doing! I want to get all the kids in school in the next few years so I can go back to college for my nursing degree... I want to be an OB nurse within the next 10 years! I would LOVE to be able to use my nursing skills (that I have not yet obtained) to do missions trips, as I've always felt called by God to do! I think it would be AWESOME to take my kids with me on the mission field too! 10 years from now, the kids will be 14, 12, and 11; so they'd be able to appreciate it much more than if I took them there now! Tim and I will have been married 18 years by this point... WAHOO!
So, can you see anything fun & exciting for yourself 10 years from now???

10 years from now I will be getting ready to turn 40, and looking back to how silly I was at 30 making a big deal of growing older. :) I also will have 3 teenagers and 2 preteens to keep me busy. Hopefully my oldest will be off at college and I will be an accountant and J will be an IT guy for the VA. We will just have celebrated our 20th anniversary. Looking into the future is fun, to bad it's all gonna end in 2012 :P JK
