Super Saturday

I had big plans outdoors today... we were going to the Pumpkin Patch and to Xander's soccer game. Both of those plans went out the window. It was too cold this morning for the pumpkin patch... then Xander's coach rescheduled his game at the last minute for a VERY inconvenient time! So... I planned to sit on the couch snuggled with a super soft blanket all day. THEN... my mom came over and suggested going out to the McDonalds that has a play area to let the kids play!! WAHOO... saved by YaYa!

We went to McD's with my mom... my MIL met us there! It was nice to just sit and chat while the kids played! After McD's we came home and EVERYONE (including me) took a nap! Granted, my nap was only an hour long, but it was nice to relax!

For dinner we had Frito Chili Pie (yum)... I had the chili cooking all day long! It was delicious! After dinner, I took Xander to a Halloween party at his friend's house. He was dressed as a ninja! At the party, they decorated pumpkins, and they painted Halloween shirts! They made their own caramel apples... he bit into his and THIS happened! YAY!

Now, I am going to work :( ...the saddest part of my day! LOL... hope your day was great!

...if the school principal calls you because your child brought your bra to their kindergarten class for show and tell (from Jennifer)
...if your extended relatives know which parts of your body have hair and which ones dont because it was your childs topic of choice at a Christmas (from Jennifer)

...if your living room looks more like a play area for kids than a nice place to entertain guests (mine)
...if you have a funny story (funny now, but not at the time)...how your son passing gas during a diaper change managed to shoot a poo ball on your cheek! (from Sandi)
