Sunday Slumber

today has been a super lazy day. didn't do much but TRY to sleep, but insomnia has been my friend these past few days (BOO). hoping to get some good sleep really soon! I NEED IT!

since i don't have much to say about today, i'll tell you about yesterday!!

The morning started off EARLY! Had to take my mom to the airport at 6 am. She went to Florida... and I am so jealous! Here's a pic of her at the beach! I am a little bitter... I grew up (for the most part of my childhood) in Florida. So going back to visit is always nice! So sad that I couldn't go!

After the airport, I got the kids up and ready for soccer. Asher is doing much better now, but I made him wear sunglasses to help protect his eye a little bit.

Xander's soccer game was pretty good. His best one yet! The lost... again... but the score was 9-10! MUCH Better than they've been doing!

After his soccer game, we went to the hospital to see three of my friends who are there. One on bed rest... one just had a single girl... one just had twins... Here's the twins- cute, right?

After hospital, it was rest time for all the kids. Then after rest time, the inlaws came over for a visit & I went to bed. Didn't sleep much, but rested until I had to go to work! It was a busy day... which is probably good since I was SO VERY TIRED...needed to stay busy so as to not collapse! LOL...

Praying for sleep.....

...if you can hug and kiss a child whose breath smells worse than a dragon's after he/she has been throwing up for most of the day and night. And, not throw up yourself in the process (from Marla)
...if the school principal calls you because your child brought your bra to their kindergarten class for show and tell (from Jennifer)
...if your extended relatives know which parts of your body have hair and which ones dont because it was your childs topic of choice at a Christmas (from Jennifer)

...if you have a funny story (funny now, but not at the time)...how your son passing gas during a diaper change managed to shoot a poo ball on your cheek! (from Sandi)
