Sunday Slumber

Always on Sundays... it was a sleepy day!

You can pretty much ALMOST ALWAYS guarantee that my Sunday post will be boring and uneventful! Sorry about that!!

Today I slept... BUT my kids watch The Little Mermaid for the first time today! Xander couldn't remember the name, so I told him to tell me about it:

"It's about some mermaid girl who didn't listen to her daddy. She made a bad decision. Then the BIG fish lady got really, really big, and the pointed thing on the front of the boat poked her in the belly and she died! So, the good guy always beats the bad guy!! There were fish, and birds, and a hairy dog, and a crab and they were all singing! I liked it a lot!"

I LOVE this movie- it's one of my all-time favorite movies ever! So I am thrilled that he liked it so much!

For dinner we had stuffed chicken- Tim's was broccoli/cheese stuffed; the kids and I had cordon bleu stuffed! Then we had smothered fries:

I bought some fiesta nacho cheese soup (Campbell's) and put it in a saucepan UNdiluted. Then I grilled some onions. I topped the cooked french fries with the cheese sauce and dropped the onions on top... it was SUPER rich, but SUPER delish!

Will definitely do those again. But since they were so very rich, I think it will be just a snack fixin... not a side with dinner. I got filled up WAAAAY to quickly!
