First day in First Grade

Today was Xander's first day of 1st Grade! He loved it! It was his first time going to school all day- I was a little concerned about how he'd do being there all day. He said, "It was cool, we go to have THREE recess times!" He was thrilled that he got to pick out his lunch... and it was yummy too! At dinner he even said that since he's a big 1st grader now he'll eat anything I want to give him (we'll see how well that works)! I'm so proud of him.... can't wait to see what the year ahead holds!

You know you're a mom if...
