I'm not sure...not 100% anyways, but I think today might have been our first day BELOW 100 degrees in over a month! It's possible it hit 100, but the expected high temp today was only 98... it sure felt cooler outside! It's amazing what a difference 10 degrees can make!! It's supposed to storm again tonight and tomorrow with tomorrow's high only 95! Time to break out the winter coats! LOL....
Today was pretty much another day of boring nothingness! Kids watched TV and played on the computer. BUT the highlight of their day was their "camping trip!"
Xander and Asher laid out pillows and blankets/sleeping bags on the living room floor. They pretended to be on a camping adventure (the words of Xander).
They had a campfire and marshmallows on sticks for the fire! They got out cups and milk (real cups, pretend milk) so they wouldn't be thirsty while they stayed outside! They had a blast! Played with this adventure before rest-time and after! Bella kept coming over and offering me a "mellow momma"... after she'd cook marshmallows! So sweet!! They loved pretending... I love their creativity at this age!
