Today, in the world of Facebook, everyone seemed to be getting bad news or is sick. It happens...such is life. But it seemed like everywhere that I looked, someone else was hurting:
Friend A: Got bad news from the doctor today
Friend B: Dad was put in hospice care
Friend C-F: All 4 have strep
Friend G: Has an ear infection
Friend H: Has a very sick baby in the hospital
Friend I: Had to take her sick kid to the doctor
I'm sure I've missed some crumminess, but this is an example of all that I heard about today. It really brings a gal down.... I'm one of those people who, when my friends hurt, I hurt... It's not always good to be empathetic!!
SO, I asked my Facebook friends if there was any GOOD news that people wanted to talk about! I really needed that. The following are the responses I received about good news:
1- I'm pretty darn happy it's only in the 80's and overcast today (in Colorado)!
2- This is the day the Lord has made!!! ;)
3-Weather is gorgeous here (in D.C.) and in many parts of the country finally. We finished decorating the girls DC room yesterday and it looks great. I got to work from home today (and was productive.)
4-We offered on a house over the weekend and they accepted! And found teeth in both girls!
5- I have a friend like you!
6-My beautiful girls are passing 2hr 45min for their nap...and still going.
7- And fall is almost here! That's great news.
8-AND I get a date tonight with my husband!
9-I did not scream at the kids today. :)
10-God is still on the Throne and He has already take care of call of these people!
**In light of all the crumminess today, here are 10 great things. All things summed up by the #10 response... GOD is still on the throne... GOD has already taken care of all these people... all the issues that people are having- even though they may seem bad- God is in control and is taking care of them all!
