Wonderful Wednesday

Today is a wonderful Wednesday, because it's my 9th Wedding Anniversary! As I sit back and remember our lives together, I realize how exceptionally blessed I am! Every decision in life led me to right here...right now! For every happy AND crummy turn in life, had it NOT taken place, I would not be here in this life! I remember moving from Florida to Colorado in the middle of high school... I HATED that my parents moved me away from all of my friends. BUT, had I not moved to Colorado, I would've never found Church Alive. Had I not found Church Alive, I wouldn't have found Rhema. Without Rhema Bible Training Center, I would've never met Tim. So, even though we moved to Colorado in 1993, that move lined up everything in the proper place so that in 1998- 5 years later, I would meet Tim. Then, in 2002, I would marry the love of my life.... to begin out lives together as hubby & wife... as daddy and mommy! I Love this life- and thank GOD every day for it! Just wanted to share my love for my husband with you... here are some pics of us from our engagement and wedding. (sorry, if you're on my Facebook, you may have already seen them, but enjoy them again! LOL) Also, the week before our wedding, Tim wrote me a poem.... what he imagined of our wedding day....
Here's that poem:

The day has finally arrived; the beautiful hour is upon us.

I am standing in a large auditorium waiting anxiously, before God and our friends, for your entrance.

I barely hear as the music changes and the crowd draws in their breath and stands.

As you enter, your beauty fills the room.
My eyes are fixed upon you, as you begin to walk down the candlelit aisle.

Your face is glowing. It reminds me of a pulsating star in the night sky. You approach slowly.
Your hair is put up to accentuate your neckline. It resembles priceless strands of silk.

The crown upon your head shimmers in the glowing light of the church.
Upon your neck rests a golden chain lined with pure white pearls. The light dances off of them as if to announce your arrival.

As I stand in awe of you, my eyes begin to see more of your perfection.

The gown that you wear fits perfectly, as if a master seamstress had crafted it just for you. It flows to the ground, and your train glides across the floor as you continue to walk. MY QUEEN.

Next, I notice your hands. So gentle and soft, but with a power so strong they could probably lift the world, as they have lifted my heart.

You are almost beside me now. You smile. Your mouth declares your love without uttering a word.

As you take your position next to me, my attention is again drawn to the radiance of your face. The tenderness and love in your eyes almost cause me to break.

The next thing I remember is standing there with you. I am holding those hands and looking into those eyes as I say, "I do."

You are my Love, my Queen, my Bride, and my Wife.

I love you,
Tim
