Fantastic Friday

Today was a Fantastic Friday for the Boni Bunch.

Since it's Good Friday, Tim had the day off work. We rarely get days together since I work on his only 2 days off. So we have evenings together, but for the most part, we don't get a lot of ALL DAY time with him!

I LOVE it when we do!

We started off the morning by going to the zoo! Thanks to a gift from a friend, we have a year long free membership...sadly it expires next week... so we decided to go today!

After the zoo, we went to lunch at El Chico. It was yummy...as always! Even Xander said ... about halfway through lunch... "I wanna eat lunch here every day!" By the time we were done eating, we were exhausted! So, Tim went shopping for Easter basket stuff; and I took the kiddos home for a nap... I took one too... HOORAY FOR NAPS!!

After dinner, babies went to bed and we (Tim and I) set up egg dying stuff for Big Boys. We bought two kits so we'd have two sets of stickers and decorations.

So we had 12 color cups!

Asher wasn't so sure about the process... Tim had to threaten that he'd have to go to bed without helping if he didn't "put that egg in the color cup!" Asher held on to it for dear life... quite humorous! It was his first time...obviously!

Once he gave in & put the egg in the cup, he realized how fun it was and didn't want to stop! We decorated 20 eggs...all different pretty colors!

Then the boys put stickers on them!

Kinda crazy how many stickers they could fit on each egg!

They had a blast decorating... Tim and I had a blast watching! Love these kids! Can't wait til next year when twins are a little older so they can decorate too!!
