Two Realizations I came to today:
1: When going into the bathroom to escape the children, it really doesn't make sense to lock the door. When the kids come to the door and proceed to bang and rattle the door knob until I come out, it wasn't much of an escape at all!
***What I learned from this realization:
There's no escape for mommy!!!
2: When your 5 year old son tries on 4 pairs of his shoes and they suddenly DON'T fit (but literally 2 days ago they DID fit), it MIGHT be time to go shoe shopping! Xander had to wear flip flops to school today because none of his actual shoes fit him! Poor little man had such a hard time running on the playground- made me wanna cry for him! (picture is the pile of shoes he went through this morning)
***What I learned from this realization:
My baby is growing WAY to fast!!!

Josh is that way with pants. I swear he has Go-Go-Gadget legs or something. All of a sudden I'll look down and see ankles. Sigh. They do grow up too fast!
