Today is all about being grateful!! Today is Grateful Heart Friday! I got the idea for G.H.F. from my blogger buddy over at Not My Own blog.... you should check her posts out- she's always very uplifting, encouraging, and inspiring!I love reading her blog!
This week, I am focusing on being grateful for my kids who make me smile EVERY day!

I am grateful for Xander- 5 1/2 years old. He told me yesterday after school,
"I have a headache because Mrs. Underwood had to raise her voice a lot today." (Mrs Underwood is a substitute teacher)
Me: why was she raising her voice?
Xander: Because we were all being really loud today
Me: that's not nice to be loud when your teacher is trying to talk
Xander: But mommy, (he whines), she's not my REAL teacher, she's just the subatute!
LOL...ok, can someone explain to me how my 5 YEAR OLD knows that substitutes get treated differently than the real teacher? I knew that later in elementary school...maybe even not until middle school, but really? Kid cracks me up, how does he know this in KINDERGARTEN?? LOL....
I am grateful for Asher- 3 years old.He had a rough week. On Tuesday night AND Wednesday night, we was awake wheezing and having trouble breathing. Tuesday night, we had to take him to the ER because I was worried, he was shaking...it was all very upsetting. BUT they gave us a script so we could do breathing treatments instead of running to the ER if it happened again. THANK GOD for that because when it happened again Wednesday night, we did it, and he seemed to get better! WAHOO!
He made me smile this week when he asked to go over to YaYa's house (my mom). I told him that she was working, so we couldn't go over there. His response: "Is she working so she can have money to go to Old McDonald's?" LOL... yep, don't ya know it, we only work to make money to eat fast food!
LOVE IT!!
I am grateful for Jonathan- 2 years old.Jonathan is so goofy. He is talking up a storm...without saying much of anything! He cracked me up this week when he squatted down, bent over, put up his hands like claws, and yelled "roar!" He was playing the part so perfectly....like he was a big, bad monster trying to scare us! The whole time, he did it with a big, cheesy, goofy smile! LOVE that kid!
I am grateful for Bella- 2 years old.Bella is so very shy! She got this new outfit --> and WANTED me to take her picture today. But EVERY time I'd click the camera, she'd look down or look away. So, finally, I decided to stop deleting the "bad" pictures, and accept the fact that she wanted me to take a picture of her pretty new clothes...NOT a picture of her! LOL...Lil Miss Attitude! She makes a mommy so happy!!
God has blessed me with four AMAZINGLY wonderful kiddos! I couldn't ask for better munchkins! Love them to death.... so glad HE gave me so much happiness!!!
What do you have to be GRATEFUL for today????

I'm grateful for you... Rachel Boni. Not only are you in the middle of raising four amazing kids, but you work, you volunteer, you maintain a blog... and still find time to be a good friend. That's what I'm grateful for today. XOXO
