It's Thursday, which means it's Embrace the Camera day!! Love this day of the week... it's always a fun blog day! For details of this fantastic phenomenon go to Emily's blog.... She's brilliant!! If you LOVE the idea as much as I do, be sure to link up with her!!This week is about uncles! I have such fond memories of my uncles when I was growing up. My mom had 2 brothers: Steve and Mark. I idolized them! While I am fairly certain that pictures EXIST of me with Steve & Mark, I don't have any to share.... (the whole point of Embracing the Camera, right??) Anyways, I loved climbing all over my Uncle Mark...he was in the Navy, so he was "rough & tough". We'd wrestle until my mom would intervene & tell me to be nice & leave him alone...LOL. Then there was Uncle Steve. He had a step-daughter who was a little older than me, so I LOVED going to his house. He did a lot of construction, so I remember him as always being dusty... weird memory, right? I loved spending time with both uncles.
And when it comes down to it, not only did I adore them, I'm pretty sure I had them wrapped around my little finger- they would've given me the entire world if they could've!
So... I say all of this to say that it's so awesome to me to see my kids LOVE my brother! Bella, the shyest of my children, has even warmed up to him!
It's so cool to see their love for their Uncle Nathan. In 25-30 years, I want my kids to look back at times spent with Nathan and have fond, happy memories like I have of my uncles!Who are YOU embracing today??

I may steal your "Embracing Uncles" idea. I will have to see if I have any pictures...
