30 Days about Me- Day 6

What is the hardest thing you have ever experienced?

The scariest day of my life... the day I had to call 911 for my son! Click HERE to read the details...

BUT... to sum it up, Asher had a febrile seizure. I had never seen anything like it in my life. He was drooling, his eyes were fixed and blank, he was purple... PURPLE! It was terrible. It was over 2 years ago, but still, whenever he gets sick, I get nervous. I'm traumatized by it still!

While trying to decide the hardest thing I've been through for myself, it occurred to me that dealing with Asher's seizure and illness was harder than anything I've been through. Not knowing if he'd be ok...not knowing WHY he was purple... not knowing what to do. Thankfully, the paramedics were calm (somebody needed to be)!

So, this was the hardest day in my life... tomorrow, you'll read about my "Dream Job!"

Oh my gosh! This is so scary! My son has had one too and I remember 911 coming and having to ride with him in the ambulance. Such a scary moment!

...if the school principal calls you because your child brought your bra to their kindergarten class for show and tell (from Jennifer)
...if your extended relatives know which parts of your body have hair and which ones dont because it was your childs topic of choice at a Christmas (from Jennifer)

...if your living room looks more like a play area for kids than a nice place to entertain guests (mine)
...if you have a funny story (funny now, but not at the time)...how your son passing gas during a diaper change managed to shoot a poo ball on your cheek! (from Sandi)
