So.Very.Tired.

Today has been a LONG and exhausting day. It'll be over AS SOON AS I finish typing today's blog! And I am so sleepy!

So...today started at 7 am...like most days do. My friend picked Xander up from school since it's so cold...didn't want to get kids out that early this morning in the super cold temps. (Thanks Rebecca) Although, I didn't line up anyone to do tomorrow morning and it'll be even colder... oh well! ANYWAYS, after a little while when it wasn't AS cold (maybe about 5 or 10 degrees warmer...lol) I had to run a couple errands to prepare for tonight's TMOM Holiday Party!

Stopped by Hobby Lobby and picked up a gift card for the gift exchange, then to Dollar Tree to shop for our charity that we were donating to this year. Then The Bunch went to Tami's house for a little while! Kids played while Tami and I worked on a craft project she was trying to get done for Christmas! At one point, she handed me reindeer antlers with hot glue on them... I didn't have a good hold on them and dropped them... glue side down on her finger! OMG...she blistered right away. That was so hot... I could tell how bad her pain was! I could REALLY tell about 5 minutes later when I burned my thumb on the hot glue as well. That pretty much ended our "fun" time together as we were both burned and in pain!

After Tami's house, we all came home to rest! Nobody napped (ANNOYING), but they at least had quiet time alone in their rooms!! AND, mommy got a little alone time too!! After feeding the kids, I left to go to the TMOM party! I love the Holiday Party...every year has been so fun! As soon as I arrived, I locked my keys in the car..GRRRR! Thankfully, one of the members has AAA and called to have them come rescue me :) (Thanks Wendy) Dinner was great! Our hostess cooked almost everything- we had all kinds of salsas and 7 layer dip and salad and queso and stuff for appetizers. Then, for the main course, she had chicken taco soup (will post the recipe SOON... I have to get it from her, but omg it was soooo delicious!) and we had tacos/burritos and all the "fixins". She set it up buffet style so everyone could get whatever they wanted for their tacos/burritos! Great idea!!! For dessert, we had cheesecake, bread pudding, and "sex in a pan" (a chocolate dessert). Everything was delicious! Her home was beautiful. The company was GREAT! All in all, I had a fantastic evening... in spite of the key incident ;) !!

I am horribly exhausted and 7am will come WAY too early in the morning!
Goodnight friends!
