30 Days about Me: Day 19

If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?

I THINK I would really love Castle Rock, Colorado! Odd choice, right? Amid all of the seemingly great cities in the world, I would pick a city with a population of only about 50k people?

Here's the deal. I have lived in Florida, in Ohio, in Colorado, and in Oklahoma. Of all of these places, I have ALWAYS LOVED Colorado! I moved to OK in 1998 and have said ever since then that if I ever relocated again, I would love to go back to CO. When asked where I would go, I'd often say, "Either Colorado Springs or Fort Collins..."

I love the small town feel of Fort Collins, but the Springs are SO beautiful. Colorado Springs has the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak! SO... I started looking into small towns and found Castle Rock, CO! Castle Rock is located about halfway between Denver and Colorado Springs (PERFECT location!). It has the perfect small town feel and it's ranked as one of the top 100 towns in the US to live in! PLUS it's only about 2 1/2 hours from where I graduated from high school and college...in case I want to go visit!

I am certain there are much more "happening" locations to live, but I am also sure that with Denver and Colorado Springs both being less than an hour away, I would have everything I'd need right at my fingertips!
