February Photo Challenge- Days 16-19

WOW... I got a little behind!! See, I looked at Day 16: What's in your bag? and I was a little intimidated! My purse is NOTHING special at all. In fact, I was bored with the picture, so why share it and bore you?? My purse has the following in it: a change purse, LOTS of receipts, some coupons, a book, and some carmex! Boring, right?? Well, I saw my purse, and I saw my picture of the contents of my purse and thought, "How can I share this horrible picture?" So then I didn't share it... then I got behind! So, instead of posting Day 16's boring picture, I'm boring you with WHY I'm not posting it! LOL...

Okay, so... Moving right along to

Day 17: Something Sweet:

We have this candy bowl.... after dinner, the kids get to pick out 1 piece of candy for dessert! We try to keep a variety of things, but it seems like there are ALWAYS tons of Tootsie Rolls leftover...evidently that's not one of their favorites!

Day 18: Nature:

This picture was taken in February 2011.. It was the last time we had REAL snow here... it's been TWO years since we had snow that I would actually count as snow (not just flurries)! Wasn't it pretty?? TWO years... come on "Mother Nature" bring us some snow!!

Day 19: A Gift:

I was sick this weekend... well, it started Sunday night. I woke up from sleeping all day so I could get ready for work. After I got out of the shower I started feeling queasy and dizzy. By the time I had to leave for work (about 45 minutes after waking) I was so dizzy that I barely made it out the door. Tim suggested I stay home... I insisted on leaving. I don't get paid for taking off of work, so I can't really afford calling in! So I got in the car & backed out of the driveway...... then pulled back into the driveway, jumped out of the car & puked. EWWW, right??!! Well, I came in and called into work, then passed out on the couch. The rest of the night I was miserable. LONG STORY to describe this gift, right?? Sorry... ANYWAYS, Tim went out yesterday afternoon for lunch with a friend- once he knew I was OK- and when he came home, he brought me this... a big pink guinea pig beanie baby by Ty and a card. He is such a sweet hubby! Love him so much :) So, you see, it's perfect that today's picture of the day is "A gift" - gives me an excuse to brag on my wonderful man!!

...if you can hug and kiss a child whose breath smells worse than a dragon's after he/she has been throwing up for most of the day and night. And, not throw up yourself in the process (from Marla)
...if the school principal calls you because your child brought your bra to their kindergarten class for show and tell (from Jennifer)
