Fabulous Friday with Fabulous Friends!

My buddy, Annissa, got a promotion this week!!

A really, really awesome promotion.

A total answer to prayers promotion

that keeps her from having to move far away...

she was considering a move for financial and familial reasons.

I was bummed at the possibility...

I love my Annissa!!

BUT, as it turns out, her boss loves her too and didn't want her to move away either ...

SO she got promoted so she'd stick around!!

I love her boss!!

Anyways, I say all of that to say this:

We had to celebrate!!

Annissa, our friend Tami, and I went to dinner at Charlestons tonight. It was wonderful to go out to a nice restaurant WITH amazing food WITHOUT kids and WITH amazing friends! As you can probably imagine, every restaurant in town was crowded...not only is it a Friday night in T-town, but it's also Valentine's weekend. The place was packed! We had a 35 minute wait...not too bad. But then when we were done with our food, we didn't want to leave. We weren't done talking, but we felt bad... there we were, done eating, holding one of those precious tables. The other people wanting to dine were waiting so patiently with the little pager buzzer thingy... I'm pretty sure they were staring at us, but I might have been a little paranoid...

Anyways...

about that time, another TMOM friend- Kim- suggested meeting up to hear a really great band play 80's & 90's music at another restaurant. PERFECT TIMING, KIM!!! So the three of us got in our cars and drove across town to our next destination: Baker St. Pub and Grill! HOLY COW that place was packed out! I hear the band was supposedly really good. They were supposed to start playing around 9, but when we left at 10, they were just getting started. Kind of a bummer! BUT, it was fun to hang out! Two of Kim's friends met us all there, plus another TMOM friend, Sarah, showed up!

We had a really great time... and who doesn't like just sitting around talking with girlfriends?? Here's a pic of the three of us at Baker St.- Annissa, Tami, and me (thanks to Sarah for taking our pic):

So glad you ladies had a FUN time...always nice to go out & feel like a lady & not just a Mommy :)

You know you're a mom if...
