Sportsmanship

I love how our U9 soccer kids have such a great attitude!

This season has been rough. As in...we have lost every.single.game. this season. Last season we were essentially undefeated. We haven't even had a close game, the other teams have slaughtered us ... it has been quite depressing.... for the adults!

Today, while sitting at the game, the boys were on the sidelines talking...

Boy 1: Maybe if we win today, we can get a pizza party like last year!

Boy 2: Yes... we were undefeated last year. We should totally win this game!

In their amazing little minds, they can still do this. They are not defeated! They are still holding their heads high and playing like the winners they are.... even though this is their last weekend. Kids can teach us so much!!

Even when the odds are against you, don't give up hope. Hold on to what you know... you've got this... you are good at what you are doing... you CAN win!!

You know you're a mom if...

...if kids songs are the ones stuck in your head (from Renee)
