30 Days about ME: Day 23- My hobbies

List your top 5 hobbies and why you love them.

the only pic I've taken since I started it!

1. Crocheting: I LOVE to crochet! I TRY to make a blanket for any of my close friends who have babies... I don't always succeed, but it's always my intention. The only down-side to this great and favorite hobby of mine is that I have two black haired dogs... their hair seems to get into the yarn, so I don't crochet at home! Tricky, huh? I keep my crochet bag in the car so it goes with me to the school pickup line or to work. SO... as you may imagine, it can take me FOREVER to finish a project!

2. Reading: Okay, truth be told, I only recently started claiming "reading" as a hobby. All through school, I did terribly on "reading comprehension" ... my mind has trouble focusing on what I'm reading. So, while I can read an entire chapter in a book, I may not have any clue what I actually read. I am really trying to read more to increase my retention and comprehension. SO...if I'm not around the kids, I will either crochet or read. I am starting to love this "hobby" as it takes me to a world not of my own... I am loving the adventures of fiction!

3. Cooking: I absolutely LOVE to cook! While I may not have great imaginations or creativeness, whatever I DO set out to cook almost always turns out delicious! Tim is my perfect pair for this hobby! He has great ideas... and if he can't think of anything fun to cook, he researches and finds the BEST recipes online! He tells me what to make... I make it... and 9 times out of 10 it'll taste wonderful!!

**SO.... I don't have 5 hobbies that I can think of. Perhaps I need to find more to add to my life... perhaps not!!
