Color blindness ??

I took Jonathan to our WONDERFUL eye doctor today- Dr Cascairo at Pediatric Eye Associates in Tulsa/BA! If you need an eye doc for your munchkins, you should check out their offices! They specialize in littles, so it's kid-friendly!!

Jonathan kept calling him Dr. Asharo ... it was cute! But anyways, he "aced" his exam... passing with a perfect score of 20/20! I was proud since most 3 year olds don't have 20/20 already!! Even Dr. Cascairo was impressed by how well he did! Then came the color-blindness test... let's just say he didn't ace that exam! LOL... evidently Jonathan has a red/green color deficiency! Dr C explained that it is genetic down the line of the mom... but IDK anyone on my side with color-blindness- maybe it's been laying dormant?? But my dad and grandpa were both in the military, so they weren't color-blind... my grandpa was adopted, so who knows before him!!?? BUT, I don't remember him checking Xander and Asher's color vision. So Dr told me that I can look up the test online and try it on the other two boys. Well, when I showed the flash cards to Asher, he couldn't see the stuff either. 1 out of 6 kids have this problem--- predominately found in boys. IF a girl is color-blind, then mom and dad BOTH would have to have the same gene. Is it possible that 2 of my 3 boys have it? I'm curious...when Xander gets home, will he be able to see the test or no???
