Lemon Butter Shrimp Pasta

Can I just say YUM???

Well, I did, I said YUM!! For dinner tonight, we had Lemon Butter Shrimp Pasta. Yes, it's pretty much an artery clogger, but it was SO delicious!

Here's what I did:

1 stick butter
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 C lemon juice (concentrate)
3 cloves garlic
12 oz bag frozen shrimp (cooked, deveined, and peeled)
1 lb pasta (we used fettuccine)

*Saute garlic in the butter and olive oil. When softened, add lemon juice. When the sauce is heated, add the thawed shrimp (thaw under running cold water- after it was thawed, I removed the tails). Heat for just a couple minutes until the shrimp is hot, then toss with cooked pasta.

We added parmesan cheese on top...that's pretty much a necessity in our house when it comes to pasta :)

You should definitely try it... it was SO good!
