Today was SO very typical!! And that's not necessarily a bad thing!!
Came home from work and cooked breakfast for everyone.
For the kids: "cheesy eggs" (essentially, a cheese omelet- lots of cheese)
For Tim: corned beef hash, bacon, and sauteed 'shrooms
For Me: not a thing... was not even close to hungry, so I just went to bed after they all ate... I regretted my decision when I awoke...I.WAS.STARVING!!!
When I woke up, Tim gave me his recipe find of the day!!
The recipe is Corn Flake Hot Dogs...
however, I didn't have any corn flakes, so I used Honey Bunches of Oats!
Yes, I know it's not the same, but it's the only "flake" cereal I have on hand...
and they turned out SCRUMPTIOUS!!!
Here's what I did... Dip uncooked hot dog in a Ketchup/Mustard mixture
(percentages of each depend on your personal preference)
Then I dipped the coated hot dog in the flakes
Then I put them all on a baking sheet and cooked at 350 degrees for 15 minutes
Jonathan practically INHALED his, Xander says he didn't like it. Asher and Bella liked them about as much as any other hot dog. BUT, Tim and I both REALLY liked these weird hot dogs! They were really good.
Kinda tasted like a corn dog, but better!
You should try it!!
