Embracing Asher

Today, I am embracing my "middle child"... my snuggle-bug... my Asher Monroe! He's 3 years old, but he talks like a teenager... he acts so grown up! Today, I said, "who's gonna be in pictures with me for the computer?" and he jumped up and yelled,

"Me, mommy, me! I want to be in your computer pictures!" So, Tim took the camera; Asher jumped in my lap! Here's the result of me hanging with Asher!

Embracing the camera is not about getting the camera out and taking pictures of others...it's about get the camera out and GETTING IN FRONT OF IT! We want people to know we existed!
So, are you ready to embrace the camera? Here's the nitty gritty:

1. take a picture with you and your kids/spouse/family member/friend/whatever.
2. blog about that picture and include a link to Mrs. Anderson's Blog
3. visit the other embracers...give each other lots of compliments about how good we look with our greasy hair and ~~sweatpants~~ velour jogging suits on. cause yah, we need a little boost when it's been days since our last shower.
4. have fun!

You know you're a mom if...

...if kids songs are the ones stuck in your head (from Renee)
...if you realize your kids are 3 years old and it is time to start carrying a normal purse and no longer the diaper bag as your purse (from Renee)
