He said, "Mommy, why didn't you let me walk to the potty?"
I said, "Because the medicine that's in your tummy makes it hard for you to walk!"
Right after I said this, he tried to turn around...dizzy, of course.... and ran smack into the wall! I wish i could say I didn't laugh, but it was really hard not to! Does that make me a bad mommy?? (lol) Anyways, they removed his tube and adenoids. WOW...was he upset after the fact! His throat hurt so bad that day...even with codeine in his system, he was in so much pain. Then, the next day...you'd never know he'd had surgery!! He was back to his wild child self again!! Yea!
Then...on J
uly 5th, we celebrated Xander's 4th birthday (bday is on the 6th) with family and a couple close family friends. We went out for dinner at CiCi's Pizza. He had a Spiderman cupcake cake...and he loved it! Of course he got lots of toys...no where near as many as he'd as
ked for, but who's counting, right? Then after the party, he got to go home with his little girlfriend for his very first slumber party! She slept in her own bed, but her mommy set up a tent for him to sleep in since he was the birthday boy! He had so much fun! They took him to Big Splash for the day (on his birthday) and he got his very first sunburn... in spite of sunscreen! He had a blast! So... now my baby is 4 years old and goes to pre-K next month....

Aww! Xander is so sweet! Glad his surgery went well.
