First teeth and dead brain batteries....

Last week, Jonathan got his first tooth! So I started pondering....and thought I should write these things down...I know it's AWFUL to compare him and Isabella, but here it goes....
Bella smiled first, but Jonathan laughed first!
Jonathan rolled over from tummy to back first- Bella 2 weeks later.
Bella rolled from back to tummy first- Jonathan 1 week later.
Isabella sat up unsupported first- Jonathan 1 week later.
Jonathan got his first tooth first- Bella, still not yet!
It's fun seeing who will do what milestone first! When Asher was smaller, I remember comparing him to Xander.... I always say "I don't remember Xander doing that".... or "I think Xander did that younger than Asher!" I guess it's normal to compare...but I try not to!

This week has been a sick & puny week. Asher had a fever and little bit of a rash one day & gone the next...THANK GOD! But then, the next day, Xander started crying actual tears saying his head hurt...."because my brain batteries are dead!" LOL... too funny! He actually asked to go to bed at noon! It was nuts! So, for the rest of that day and the day after, he had a fever and complained of a head ache. He eventually said he just hurt all over...it's so sad to see kids feeling crummy...they're so puny looking! Today, all the kids are back to normal (whatever that is)!! I'm so glad they feel good, but now I am exhausted from all the extra neediness! Oh well!

...if you can hug and kiss a child whose breath smells worse than a dragon's after he/she has been throwing up for most of the day and night. And, not throw up yourself in the process (from Marla)
...if the school principal calls you because your child brought your bra to their kindergarten class for show and tell (from Jennifer)
...if your extended relatives know which parts of your body have hair and which ones dont because it was your childs topic of choice at a Christmas (from Jennifer)
...if you don't mind if your kids drink out of your glass and you will still drink from it too (from Marcia)
...if your living room looks more like a play area for kids than a nice place to entertain guests (mine)
...if you have a funny story (funny now, but not at the time)...how your son passing gas during a diaper change managed to shoot a poo ball on your cheek! (from Sandi)
