Xander had one of his two front teeth that was SO loose that it was hanging sideways in his mouth. I have been asking him every day if I could pull it; he'd run away crying... whining... and saying no!
He kept saying, "I want it to fall out by itself!" The first of the two front top teeth fell out at Halloween when he bit into an apple- this tooth was loose even then! So, yesterday at school, his mouth hit someone's head and it fell out! WAHOOOO! Now I don't have to look at the icky tooth hanging funny! Xander was excited too... he was gonna get a dollar from the tooth fairy! YAY!
He was awake this morning EARLY... so good thing Tim woke me up at 6:20 and asked if I remembered to deliver the dollar!! OOPS...completely forgot last night! SO glad he woke me up! I can only imagine how upset he would have been to wake up and still have the tooth there under his pillow! Anyways, he got his dollar... then RIGHT as I was falling back to sleep, he woke me up SO EXCITED to tell me he got a dollar! He asked if we could go shopping after school so he could buy a dollar toy at WalMart! LOL.... SO, after school, the first thing he said when he got in the van... "Can we PLEEEASE go to Walmart??? We did!
Here's where the rebellion comes in... and NOT from Xander!!! Jonathan has been such a pill today... it's been one of those days that I would LOVE to fast forward the clock to 7pm and put the kids to bed! Jonathan has run away from me every time I say "come here"... he screams when I say "be quiet" ... he throws blocks when I say "time to clean up"... I don't know what to do with him sometimes! He has that cute little smile that melts my heart EVERY time he uses it, but along with that sweetness comes a handful of rebelliousness! He is my "challenge" ...I MUST pray harder for him.... and for me!! LOL.... I need to breathe ... if I were a drinker, I would say, "I need a glass of wine" ... but that won't work so I suppose that praying and breathing will just have to do! You are more than welcome to pray for me too! (and Jonathan....LOL)
