ASHER'S UPDATE!!

Asher... While Asher is the sweetheart of the family, I think he's hitting the "terrible twos" a few months early! He's discovered that if Xander is in his way, he can just hit him to make him move! Very annoying! Then, when he's told NO, he just cries and cries and cries. He's so sensitive- I think if I look at him cross-eyed, he'd probably cry! He has had stranger anxiety for as long as I can remember! Even at my friend's house this weekend, when her husband tried to pick him up, he started to panic and scream! It's very sad... and tiring! He's all right with family, but anyone else, it takes awhile to warm up! He is my accident prone child. If there is an injury to be found, he'll find it! Whether it's falling over his pj pants & bumping his head, or if it's slipping on the smallest spot of water on the kitchen floor and busting his lip... he'll do it! Poor kid! He ends up with lots of kisses though, so he's a happy accident waiting to happen! In this sense, he's just like me (Xander talks, Asher gets hurt). I was always the accident prone one in my family! He is such a snuggler though! When he's in a good mood or a bad one, he loves to cuddle! He gives big hugs and loves to be close to us! He is so caring with the babies- always giving hugs and kisses! He's becoming a great little helper too! Even though he's only 19 months old, he will take bottles to the sink, diapers to the trash, get burp rags for me, and give binkies if the babies are crying!
