I love this man!!

My hubby started taking a couple of courses online this week. One of his first assignments was so awesome that I just HAD to share it! In English Comp, he was told to write one paragraph about almost anything, but the professor gave a list of possible topics from which to choose. He chose to write about being a dad!

Here it is:

Transforming from Tim to Dad

            I never knew how much my life would change when I became a dad. Over the years, I have learned that my home is no longer an entertainment facility for my friends, but a playground for miniature humans. My “man-cave” with walls full of wolf pictures and swords has been transformed into a mini Lego Land full of super-heroes, action figures, and Nerf guns. I have discovered a great change in my passion for music. Where I once loved classic Rock-N-Roll, I now find myself singing along with a big, purple dinosaur and strange, talking vegetables! Even my reading habits have evolved! I used to relax by reading a Sci-Fi novel, but now I find myself relaxing on the couch reading about cats in hats and various discolored breakfast foods.  My kids have changed my world, but I wouldn’t trade the walls, the music, or the books for a second! I love every little change they have brought into my life!
