Five Minute Friday: MIGHTY

Today's prompt word is MIGHTY!!

Whenever I think of the word Mighty, I can't help but think about God!

He is mighty!

I remember singing a song back in my youth group days that went like this:

"What a mighty God we serve

What a mighty God we serve

Angels bow before Him

Heaven and earth adore Him

What a mighty God we serve!"

So when I hear that word, I immediately associate it with God!!

He is so mighty that even the angels bow before Him!! The term "mighty" means having great power, strength, or awesome in size! I believe this term fits MY God so very well. He is, indeed, awesome in size and possesses great power and strength- who else do you know that can form the entire world just by talking?? Yep, that's my MIGHTY God!

For any issue that I face, any problem that may arise, my God is Mighty to save- He will pull me through because of His greatness! I am so glad that I serve such a MIGHTY GOD!

We MUST be about the same age! HA! Did you bow down when you sang "angels bow before Him"? We did. Love this post, and reminder of how mighty He is! Have a wonderful weekend!

I remember that song too! :) He is Mighty to save indeed...every moment of every day He continues saving us! Great post!

You know you're a mom if...

...if kids songs are the ones stuck in your head (from Renee)
...if you realize your kids are 3 years old and it is time to start carrying a normal purse and no longer the diaper bag as your purse (from Renee)
