I love my kids!

Besides the simple fact that I am blessed with awesome kids, I LOVE getting little reminders of just how awesome they are!

Xander's class had two different substitute teachers this last week. Both raved about how awesome and well-behaved he is...how he is a great helper and stays quiet in class!

One of those subs have recently been in Asher's class- he said,
"Your other son down the hall is wonderful too! He listens so well and is just a great kid!"

When I talked with Jonathan and Bella's teacher recently about their behavior, I was told,
"Your kids are golden children!"

AND,

In the first four months of school, all four of my kids have been recognized for their awesomeness by being named "Tiger Cub" for their classes!!

How could I NOT be proud of my littles???

Then, the story that prompted this post.

After accumulating TONS of candy while trick-or-treating on Halloween, I told each of the kids that they could write their names on a Ziploc bag and pick 10 candies that were JUST theirs. All of the other candy was to be put in the candy bucket- fair game for all! So they picked their personal favorites to put in their baggies so nobody else was allowed to touch their selections.

Xander, my little punk-child, picked all the candy that he knew *I* loved so that I couldn't get MY favorites out of the bucket...so that he would get to enjoy MY favorites! Grrr... little stinker-butt!

So, yesterday, he tells me that he has a special present for me that he put together for Christmas, but he wants to give it to me early.

He brings to me a Ziploc bag full of MY FAVORITES!!
ALL FOR ME!
and
I DON'T HAVE TO SHARE!!!

I sure do love that punk-child, stinker-butt!
