December 23, 2008- Your birthday!

 I'll never forget the moment you were born! 

The nurses all said with excitement, 

"I've never seen THAT before!" 

My response, 

"Woman on operating table doesn't want to hear that her nurses have never seen something before!"

Well, evidently, my AWESOME, show-off doctor pulled you out of my belly still in your sack! So you looked like a little alien baby as you stretched your arms inside the sack! We got an AMAZING picture of that moment! Dr. N still has that picture hanging on his office wall for all to see! I'd post that pic here, but some have said it's "gross" since it is not only of you, but of my cut open belly :)

Anyways, here is your first official picture:

You were pretty from the moment you were born! 

You love all things pink. You love princess stuff- as you are my little princess! You say that your favorite colors are pink, purple and orange. I love how, in spite of your love for pink, you don't mind getting your pink clothes completely filthy by playing in the dirt with your brothers!

After having 2 boys first, I didn't want a girl. I knew how to raise a boy... was scared to death of having a little prissy girl and not knowing what to do with her! A co-worker said something to me when I was pregnant- she had 3 boys and 1 girl. She said,

 "You may think you don't want a little girl, but let me tell you, she is ALWAYS yours! When your boys move out and start a life with their brides, they're gone, but a girl is always there with you. Even after starting a family, she always needs her mommy!"  

God knew what He was doing when he gave me you! He gave me the perfect girlie girl tomboy!!  You adore your brothers- when you are away from them, you constantly talk about them! You like Hello Kitty and Dora the Explorer! You wear pretty pink glasses and your hair is normally in a pony-tail of some kind!

My dear Princess Bella. I love you SO much! You give the best hugs and love to snuggle! As much as I didn't think I wanted a little girl, I can't imagine my life without you! Our family wouldn't be complete without you in it!
