Boo-Boos, Yumminess, and Silliness

Xander has a boo-boo on his leg. This kid always has a bad reaction to mosquito bites... like big welts and lots of swelling! This bite on his leg appeared on Monday night... last night I put some neosporin and band-aids on it to keep him from itching...PLUS gave him some Benadryl. Today, this is how it looks...

Lunch was super yummy! I cooked smoked beef sausage in a skillet with a little oil. Then I sauteed some onions and green bell peppers in with the sausage. In a separate pot, I boiled 1/2 lb bowtie pasta. I tossed it all together with salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese. SUPER yummy!!!

At bedtime, Asher was yelling,

"I'M HOOOOOOOOOT!"

over and over and over again. I went into his room and said,

"I don't know what to do for you; you have two fans on you, plus your bedroom door is open so you can feel the air from the living room!"

He said:

"I know one more thing we can do... I can be still in bed, that'll help cool me down, right?"

LOL...smart, goofy kid!

"Yes, son, that will for sure help you cool down... be still and go to sleep!"
