TWO THINGS TUESDAY: Stop signs and Edible Centerpieces
My street has about a million and one stop signs. You drive about the distance of 3 houses, then there's another sign. So, this morning, Asher decided he was going to point out EVERY single stop sign along the drive!
"Stop Sign, Mommy!"
"Stop Sign, Mommy!"
Cute, at first...then it grew a little bit annoying!
BUT THEN....
Xander said, "I bet they even have stop signs in Mexico, don't you think so mommy?"
Me: Sure
Xander: When can we go to Mexico, mommy?
Me: Probably not until you are all grown up!!
Asher: I think there are lots of stop signs on our street because God made it that way, right momma?

We had out annual end-of-the-year TMOM banquet tonight. It's always a super fun time of food and socializing! One of the coolest things ever was our centerpieces! My friend, Debra, who is SUPER creative and awesome made these:
They were sooo cool. She put them in a pot- so it looked like a flower arrangement. In it, she had cake balls on a stick, Oreos dipped halfway in icing then sprinkled, and the flowers were fruit roll-ups with a marshmallow & Hershey kiss inside to make it look like a flower.... so stinkin creative, right? LOVED these!!

Hmm I haven't blogged in quite a while and since u did the TMOM as one I will do two different things.
ReplyDeleteIt was my (deceased) dads birthday today. I miss him every day for 21 years now. I did a semi-stupid, extremely hilarious thing today. Was on phone w mom. Ordered mcDs. Paid. Drove to reasors. Looked over for food. Huh that's weird. Where's the food? Shoot I forgot to get it! Noticed I had receipt so yea I did pay. Drove back over and waited in line to tell them I was the moron who paid and drove off because I was (ahem): distracted on my cell phone :) I was on autopilot. Not good, not good indeed!
1. I didn't get to visit with everyone I wanted to at the banquet.
ReplyDelete2. I think I'm going to start following the OKC Thunder. Randy was watching the game when I got home. It would be nice if there was a sport where we both root for the same team!
