My little men

Xander just continues to amaze me! He was sitting at the table while I was getting lunch ready, and he wanted to tell me all about Easter. He said, "When it's Easter-time, we go to Amanda's house and look all over for Easter eggs. Then we find them and open them and there's candy inside!" So, obviously it's been a year since we did that, right? And at that time, he was only 2 1/2 years old. So, I didn't realize that a kid could remember something from that long ago?? Then, yesterday we registered him for pre-K for the fall!! I can't believe my little man is finally old enough to go to "big boy school!" He is ecstatic! (It'll be a nice break for me too!!!) He's such a big boy!!

Then there's Asher. He just seems so smart to me! I know that at 17 months, he should be able to follow basic commands, right? But even when I am not telling him something directly, he responds. I told Xander to take his bath towel back to the bathroom. Asher went over to where the towel was laying on the floor, picked it up and took it to the bathroom! Last night, I told him it was time to go night-night and that we needed to change his diaper. So he climbed up on the diaper table. Then got down to give daddy a kiss... then went to his bedroom!

They're both growing up so fast! It is crazy to think that before long, the twins will be doing all the same things!! Not too soon, though... I hope! I love having them itty bitty!
